Vodavi's
XTS Communications System Receives Product of the Year
Award from Communications Solutions Magazine
PHOENIX--(BUSINESS
WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2002--Vodavi Technology Inc. VTEK Tuesday
announced that Communications Solutions(TM) magazine
has honored Vodavi's XTS digital communications system
with a 2001 Product of the Year Award.
Specifically,
the Communications Solutions editorial staff and engineers
at TMC Labs(TM) awarded the XTS as the most interesting
and innovative product in the Business Phone System
category. The Communications Solutions Product of the
Year award honors innovative products and services that
advance voice/data convergence.
The
XTS or "eXpandable Telephone System" allows
Vodavi dealers to stock a single phone system to meet
the majority of their customer needs, thereby eliminating
costly duplicate inventory as well as helping gain operational
efficiencies due to faster installation and maintenance.
The
XTS can be configured as one cabinet supporting up to
136 ports, or 48 Central Office lines and 96 stations,
to a maximum of three cabinets for a capacity of 376
ports, or 144 Central Office lines and 252 stations.
This
compact, stackable architecture provides business customers
with a communications system that includes the same
useful features, such as integrating VoIP, and full
capability with existing Vodavi telephone sets, as well
as provides a system that preserves capital investment
by growing their XTS rather than replacing it as business
needs adjust.
"Vodavi
has been grateful for the many industry recognition
awards it has received throughout the years for a wide
variety of business and call center products introduced
into the marketplace," said Stephen Borcich, Vodavi's
vice president of sales and marketing.
"We're
extremely honored to recently have the value of the
XTS system recognized especially from our industry peers.
Award recognition along with market acceptance helps
to reinforce our commitment to ongoing product development
and solidifies our position as the vendor of choice
in small- to medium-sized business communications solutions."
